This is a good book for positive home birth stories.
This is a great beginning place to see what hypnobirthing is about and to decide if you want to take it a step further and take the class or just use some of the techniques during labor that the book teaches. This is also good for if you have had past birth trauma. This book can help open your mind to how positive birth can be and hope that it won't be like it was before.
This is a great book for all your breastfeeding how-to questions. It covers latch and unlatch, preventing nipple damage, nursing after cesarean, nursing multiples, schedules for short term nursing moms all the way to past 1 year nursing moms, and more. It's a wonderful source.
Pregnancy takes a lot out of our bodies and sometimes it doesn't all come back. This book discusses how many individuals never feel like themselves again especially after multiple children. This discusses how to get those aspects of yourself back through good nutrition, gentle exercise, and other simple adjustments.
This is a great book for covering everything from beginning to end. Another good pass it on book.
Co-sleeping just happens at some point if you are breastfeeding because you need sleep too. This is a great book to get familiar with how to do it safely and how to educate anyone who will watch your baby. This also makes a great gift to another pregnant mom once you are done with it.
The first 40 days is a wonderful nutrition and meals book about healing and balancing after birth. It also coincides into cultural beliefs that the first 40 days is for mother and baby bonding, resting, and healing. In some cultures there are no visitors for that time period to allow for special bonding uninterrupted. This is a great postpartum read or in preparation for postpartum
This is a great book to help you continue to focus on yourself once baby arrives. Self-care is crucial postpartum, when your baby needs so much from you.
This is a bok by Aviva Romm about balancing your hormones to help with a large variety of issues. Dealing with irregular cycles, skin issues, weight gain, PCOS, infertility, miscarriages, etc? These all could be related to hormone imbalances and this book discusses lots of helpful ways to balance your hormones and educates you about your body. This is one of my personal favorites.
