Placenta Encapsulation

This service offers a variety of options for each person. Different packages are offered including placenta encapsulation, flavored capsules, pictures of your placenta, a placenta print, cord keepsake, and placenta tincture. 

Placenta encapsulation is to have  your placenta processed by cleaning it, cutting it, drying it, and encapsulating it in powder form for consumption.  This method is used to turn the hormones, trace elements, stem cells, vitamins, and other placental nutrients into gentle postpartum support. This is not FDA approved or regulated in any way and no medical guarantees or claims can be made. Generally, individuals who choose to do this do so with the intention of helping balance their hormones after birth and improve their overall healing. Placentas are potent in hormones and are made specifically tailored to you and your baby each pregnancy. After you finish taking your placenta capsules, generally around 6 weeks post-birth, you could begin taking your placenta tincture. A placenta tincture can be taken daily or as needed in times of stress. It can be taken when your menstrual cycle returns for the first time or even monthly. Weaning from breastfeeding is another huge transitional period where women tend to feel the effects physically, mentally, and certainly emotionally. Your placenta tincture is like your  own multi-purpose tool that has a long lasting shelf life when stored away from direct sunlight. 

Placenta Encapsulation is processed by cleaning it, cutting it, drying it, and encapsulating it in powder form for consumption using unflavored or berry flavored capsules in a glass jar. 

Placenta Tincture is made by  taking a small chunk of your placenta and placing it in a jar with a high potency alcohol and letting the alcohol extract the medicinal constituents through the process of osmosis, resulting in a concentrated liquid. 

Placenta print or placenta art print are made by stamping a piece of paper onto your placenta to preserve the unique shape and tree of life pattern your placenta has. The placenta print is done with the blood for a pink/red hue dried and the art print is made with colorful natural food colorings. 

Cord Keepsake (Based on each length of cord given and typically is a heart shape or love written out) 

3 Photos of your placenta (Top tree of life fetal side, amniotic sac view as able depending on what is given, and maternal side of the placenta). These will be sent to you via text message and are non-professional. 

Pick-up and Delivery included any location within my service area and a tour of your placenta upon pickup if desired. 

We strive to provide high quality ingredients and organic where possible. We also use glass amber jars or bottles for our products for better preservation and longer storage. Our cord keepsakes come in a padded jewelry box wrapped with emerald satin ribbon. Our placenta art comes in a black and glass picture frame. The photos of your placenta are sent to you through a text message. Your overall package comes in a lovely gift bag. 

Unflavored Capsules- are made from  HPMC Pure natural plant Fiber and are Vegan, Gluten free, and Non-GMO. 

Berry Capsules- are made from 100% bovine hide gelatin, kosher and halal certified, no preservatives, prions, TSE or BSE, and free of all common allergens. 

Placenta Print- Uses the blood on the placenta for the natural print on vintage recycled cotton off-white water color paper and comes in a sheet protector. 

Placenta Art- Uses plant based, vegan, dye-free, gluten free, non-GMO food colorings. Blue includes maltodextrin, spirulina extract, and sodium citrate. Pink includes maltodextrin, beet juice concentrate,  and citric acid. Yellow includes maltodextrin, turmeric, pectin, gum arabic, and citric acid. 

Placenta Tincture- uses 80 proof high quality vodka and a small chunk of your placenta.
